Dome Restoration

The 1800’s Polk County Courthouse suffered from water intrusion through the metal dome. SEMCO restored the interior and exterior of the dome to mitigate the water damage and prevent future structural damage to the dome. The work included the restoration of embossed cornice work and all sealants on the exterior of the dome, as well as interior plaster repairs and re-stenciling of interior hand-painted work.
