March 30, 2009, marked the re-opening of one of Bartow's largest private employers – Flanders Precisionaire. The facility was destroyed by fire in 2007. SEMCO erected the 265,000SF metal building, which includes a receiving area, manufacturing area, warehouse area, and offices. Precisionaire designs, manufacturers, and markets air-conditioning filters and filtration systems.
